This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time now. But never really felt inspired enough (or maybe just lacked the proper motivation) to do. Anyone that listens to my music probably/hopefully notices that I love telling a story through the lyrics. Usually each song is it’s own story, although I have occasionally thrown 2 songs to be linked together. I started doing that as an creative writing exercise as a way to challenge myself. Authors have as many pages as they want to tell the story they envision, but what if I constricted myself to tell an equally compelling story but within the limits of a 3-5 minute song, while maintaining the musical structure of a hook, or a melody.

               Well, now I am on the pursuit of telling 1 complete story through an entire album. Or at least 4 to 5 songs, lol. Each song intended to be its own chapter. I know this isn’t a new concept, but it’s new to me and I’m really excited to share it with everyone. I already have most of the story fleshed out, and an ending in mind. I have 2 complete songs already recorded and ready to be released. These are chapters 1 and 2. 

               This probably won’t be fully released until sometime next year, mainly because even though the story is mostly written, I still have to write music and lyrics for the remaining chapters. Let alone, record them lol. It is a daunting task when I think about it, but I’m hoping I can complete this over the course of the next year. Or at least have the music and lyrics written, then I can focus on recording everything.

               Here’s a brief synopsis of the story, I hope you all will share my excitement for it:

Fable of the Fallen

Ages ago, in a time where religion ruled all, there was many who tried to use the fear of God to manipulate man into following them. You may know them now as a cult. Well before this was just normal men and women pretending to be Sheppard’s of God, there lived actual beings who were direct descendants of the angels and demons themselves. This is the story of one such being, who lured thousands to a sacrificial death and trapped their souls in Oblivion. Only by the way of self-sacrifice would she harness their essence into regaining her true infernal being. This is the story of the rise, the fall and redemption of Trinity, the fallen Demigoddess.
